Happy St. Patrick’s Day and Happy Friday once again! I only have a few things to share this week because it’s been even more busy than usual (somehow!?) so I’ll jump right in to those:
Blogilates

This is a relatively new thing for me, but I think it’s improving my lifestyle a lot and I really wanted to share! Blogilates is a youtube channel for pilates and yoga exercise routines. I’ve been trying to make myself live a healthier lifestyle by eating better and now this is step 2. I’ve been trying to do a workout 3 or 4 days a week and it honestly is going so well!! I used to dread making myself work out but once you get going it’s very easy to get into and actually pretty fun. The girl who runs Blogilates, Cassey, is SO fun and encouraging during the workouts and I always feel really good when I’m done. Right now she has a daily series of playlists for March that are really fun, and I definitely recommend her Pilates for Beginners playlist as well! She also has a lot of videos about eating healthy and thinking positively to improve your life – it’s a really great resource all around 🙂
NYX Color Correcting Concealer Palette
Color correcting is something I haven’t been doing very long but I think it really makes a difference in my makeup look. The basic idea is you use opposite colors on the color wheel to cancel out pigment in your face – green cancels out redness, purple can help with a sallow appearance, etc. I picked up this NYX Color Correcting Concealer Palette a few weeks ago and I’ve been using it every day since. I use the green shade the most to cover blemishes or soften any redness in my face, and I like the yellow and the light peach color to help with dark undereye circles. I love the palette format because I don’t need to use multiple products and for being right around $10 it’s really great quality as well! I used to think color correcting didn’t make any difference but now I do it almost every day 🙂
Starbucks mobile app + bingo
This one seems kind of silly haha but I’ve mentioned in the past how much I appreciate a good mobile app, and the Starbucks one is awesome! It is so convenient to pay with the app and do mobile orders. We live super close to a Starbucks so I literally can take Teddy on a walk and go across the street to pick up a drink while I’m out. It’s amazing. Starbucks is also doing a thing right now where you try to get bingo on a little board by going to different stores and at different times, and while I know in my heart it’s just a clever marketing strategy, I’m having so much fun doing it that I don’t even mind haha. Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Longwear Foundation Stick
I was recently sent a couple of products in the mail from Influenster, the word of mouth marketing company that I sometimes mention (I plan on writing a full post about the site and how it works soon!). One of the items I received was this Lancôme foundation. I was SOOOOO thrilled to get this box, as I haven’t used many Lancôme products before and I was so excited to try them out. I’ll try not to go on and on about it because I’m also going to have a full post reviewing everything I received but I love this foundation!! It’s a stick formula, and I’ve tried a few like this before but nothing recently and nothing this high quality. It literally feels like I’m wearing nothing on my face. I’ve worn it to work the past few days and it has held up super well, in these photos I had been wearing it about 7 hours:
The color I was sent is 110 Ivoire C, which is actually a nice match for my skintone too. Obviously I am going to be excited that I was sent a $42 foundation for free but it’s actually pretty great, and you’ll see in my full review post that I did not enjoy all of the products in the same way as this one haha
