Wow, as I wrote the date in the title of this post I literally had to pause and make sure it was correct. I cannot BELIEVE it is already April 21…which means it’s also almost my birthday!! I don’t have any super fun plans on my actual birthday this year because I have to work, but we have some other things planned for our next day off to celebrate. And last year I was in Disneyland on my birthday, so…there’s no way I’m gonna top that so might as well not bother trying haha
Also, a very happy birthday to my fellow Taurus and best friend Sarah today <3
On to my favorites!
10ft iPhone Charger
Truly, is there anything better than a 10-foot charging cable? Because I can’t think of anything. I can lay in my bed however I want without having to worry about unplugging my phone or ipad and the cord is still more than long enough. And best of all, it’s pink!!! I don’t know why I haven’t owned one of these for ages (actually, I did own one and Chris stole it but it’s fine)
NYX Eyebrow Gel
There aren’t many products I truly consider my “holy grail” products – the end all be all, never need to buy anything else, my favorites of all time. But this is one of those for me. I use the blonde shade and apply it with a thin angled brush to fill in my brows. It’s just perfect. The color is perfect for me and it’s so easy to apply and get my brows exactly how I want them, and they stay in place ALL DAY. Once this stuff is applied it does NOT come off until I want it to. I’ve been using this for a long time now and I just replaced an empty tube this week, which is why I wrote about it for my favorites! Also FYI – NYX is having a buy two get one free deal at Ulta right now on EVERYTHING if you need to pick anything up!

Considering I listen to this pretty much all day every day at work now, it’s been stuck in my head for pretty much the past two weeks and I’m not mad about it. I love Epcot <3
Then I also have a few little things that don’t warrant a whole paragraph, but still made me happy this week:
- sleeping on clean sheets fresh out of the laundry
- cuddling with Teddy when I get home from work
- Sephora hosting a sale the weekend of my birthday
- seeing Chris at work in passing
- planning little things for our wedding, like making the bridal party gifts and setting up our wedding website (also my dress will be here in two weeks!!)
To be QUITE honest I think after this month I will start doing “favorites” posts monthly instead of weekly, because I have such a hard time coming up with new favorites on weeks when I’m really busy! I don’t really change up my routine a lot of the time so it sometimes feels like a stretch to write about something as my “favorite” just for the sake of it. But we’ll see what happens. Maybe this week I’ll have a breakthrough and find a million things I like and take all this back haha
