A bit of a different type of post today because I wanted to mention a few housekeeping things. You might notice the site looks a little different right now… this is because I have officially moved off of WordPress servers and I now have my own hosting!!
If you don’t know what this means – basically I am one step closer to being a real live blogger! I no longer am limited by WordPress’s specifications when it comes to design, storage, quality, or anything else. It’s all mine! It’s been a bit of a process (and part of the reason I accidentally published my last honeymoon post early was because I was moving things around to get ready for this) but everything is transferred over and I have my own web hosting now! I’m really excited about this change because now I will have much more freedom and ability to customize my site exactly how I want it. I used this amazing site called WPBeginner to help me transfer everything, and I’ll probably write a whole review post about them soon. They made the process so easy and I’m happy to have had their assistance.
That being said, I’m still working out all the kinks so things might look a little funny here and there. If you notice anything weird, it’s probably because of that. I’m working on getting everything the way I want it and things should be back to normal soon.
