    How to Clean Fake Lashes

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while (or honestly not that long at all) you may remember my semi-recent posts about how I clean my beauty blenders and makeup brushes. Well, after a visit to a certain not-so-scary Halloween party, I discovered another beauty item that may need cleaning: false lashes! I don’t wear lashes all that often, mostly for special days or just when I feel like it. You obviously don’t have to clean your lashes if you plan on tossing them after one use, but I like to get multiple wears out of each pair of…

Teddy’s Birthday + How to Make Pupcakes

Thursday was a very special day for us – it was Teddy’s birthday! Teddy turned 5 on September 21. Obviously since he is a rescue we have no way of knowing if this is his actual birthday, but it’s the day the humane society said was his birthday so it’s what we go with 🙂 For Teddy’s birthday we had a little celebration complete with presents and special treats! For Teddy’s birthday we basically used it as an excuse to get some new puppy things we had been looking at for a while, haha. The first thing we got him…

    Food & Wine Festival 2017

Hi and welcome back to my blog! Today I’ll be sharing with you what we’ve tried so far at Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival this year. The Food & Wine Festival is one of my favorite times of the year to be at Epcot, and this year is even better for me since I get to be part of it by working at Epcot Guest Relations during the festival! I wrote a post about it last year as well and I’m excited to show some of the new things (and old favorites) we’ve tried in 2017. Something I am OBSESSED…

    All About Hautelook

Hello and welcome back to my blog <3 Today I have another post in my “all about ____” semi-series about various websites I use to save money and get free stuff. Previously I’ve covered Influenster, BzzAgent, Pinecone Research, and Ebates, and today I bring you another one! This series has expanded from test-and-review companies to include websites I use to save money or otherwise just find useful. Today’s subject falls into the latter category. Today we’re talking about Hautelook! (Edit from the future: you can click here to see all my similar posts about saving money and getting free stuff!)…

    Target Beauty Box August 2017

Coming right on the heels of the Target Beauty Box Analysis post, I have this month’s Target box review!! Target Beauty Box Cost: $5-10 – this month’s was $7 (I think?) Frequency: Monthly, but you have to order it each time. I get emails from My Subscription Addiction to remind me when each box goes on sale! Type of products: Deluxe samples and sometimes full sized versions of beauty products Reviews from my previous boxes here! This month’s theme was “Routine”. My interpretation is that people are getting back into the routine of things with school starting up again – not that that’s really relevant to…

What’s In My Travel Makeup Bag

A few weeks ago you may recall my post about what I packed in my travel toiletry bag for our Pittsburgh trip last month. Today I’m bringing you my second travel-themed “what’s in my bag” post with everything that I keep in my travel makeup bag!! This is JUST the makeup that I brought with me for traveling – all of my skin care, makeup wipes, and other liquid stuff like that was in my toiletry bag 🙂 First I’ll start with the bag itself. This is the Sephora “Vacationer” travel makeup bag: I actually first saw this recommended in…

Analysis of a Beauty Box: Target

After getting a bunch of really kind and supportive responses for my last Beauty Box Analysis post, I’m super excited to write a second one!! This time I’m going to be covering the Target Beauty Box 🙂 First off, of course, if you haven’t already checked out my Target Beauty Box reviews, you can do so here! In my Sephora post, I had been subscribed to the box for a year, so I had 12 boxes’ worth of products to analyze and compare. I only started getting Target boxes in October of 2016 (and missed a month back in February…

    All About Ebates

Today I have a continuation of my “series” about websites you can use to get free stuff or cash for reviews. Previously I wrote about Influenster, BzzAgent, and Pinecone Research. This one is different – it’s the first non-review site I’ve written about, and instead it focuses on cash back for your purchases. Today we’re talking about Ebates! (Edit from the future: you can click here to see all my similar posts about saving money and getting free stuff!) Ebates is a site I actually learned about from my mom, and she’s been using it for ages so I know…
