Colourpop Disney Designer Collection – Review

It feels like ages since I’ve written a makeup post – but that’s about to change! Recently I got a few items from the Colourpop Disney Designer collection and I am so excited to tell you all about them. Colourpop is actually a brand I have never been super into – I don’t dislike them or anything, I just only own one lip product from them and have never really felt super drawn to buy a bunch of things. They’re mostly known for being an inexpensive, mostly online brand. Before this Disney collection, I had actually never placed an order…

    November 2017 Favorites

I cannot believe it is already DECEMBER 2017! Where did the year go? I also can’t believe how little I have been writing on here lately. I always say that I never want this blog to become a chore for me, and lately I just haven’t been motivated to write. I feel like it’s really annoying to point out how long it has been in every post lately…so from now on I am going to stop acknowledging when it’s been a while haha. Unless it’s been like, a LONG while haha So anyway… with all that being said, here’s my favorite…

    Target Beauty Box August 2017

Coming right on the heels of the Target Beauty Box Analysis post, I have this month’s Target box review!! Target Beauty Box Cost: $5-10 – this month’s was $7 (I think?) Frequency: Monthly, but you have to order it each time. I get emails from My Subscription Addiction to remind me when each box goes on sale! Type of products: Deluxe samples and sometimes full sized versions of beauty products Reviews from my previous boxes here! This month’s theme was “Routine”. My interpretation is that people are getting back into the routine of things with school starting up again – not that that’s really relevant to…

    Battle of the Beauty Blenders

Today’s post is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time! I’ve always been curious about comparing different products that are similar in style or function. Makeup sponges a la the Beauty Blender are definitely one of those things!! There’s so much hype around the different sponges and whether they’re “worth it” and now that I own….several….of these sponges, I felt like it was time to officially compare them all. In total, I currently own 16 different makeup sponges: Beauty Blender Original Beauty Blender Pro Beauty Blender Nude EcoTools Perfecting Blender Duo Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge Real Techniques…

    Friday Favorites #14 – 4/28

Welcome to this week’s Friday Favorites! I had a great birthday week full of lots of celebrating 🙂 Like I mentioned briefly in last week’s favorites post, I’ve actually decided to start doing Favorites monthly rather than weekly. This is because I feel like I find myself more and more often scrambling to put things into the posts…a lot of things make me happy every week, but it’s more often than not the same things over and over haha. So this will be the last “Friday” Favorites but I’ll still do one at the end of each month with all my…

    Sephora Play! April 2017

Welcome to another beauty box review! Today we are talking about this month’s Sephora Play! Sephora Play! Cost: $10 Frequency: Monthly, renews automatically Type of products: 5 deluxe samples of skincare and makeup (more makeup than any other box I subscribe to!) and one fragrance sample Reviews from my previous boxes here! This month’s theme for the box was “step it up!” As usual I do not really know what the theme means but at least they didn’t do another glowy/all-highlighter box haha. This month’s bag reminds me a bit of the Wendy’s girl: The resemblance is there. But the bag also…

    Target Beauty Boxes April 2017

Welcome to another beauty box review!! Today we are looking at this month’s Target Beauty Boxes. Just like they did back in January, Target released two different beauty boxes for April. But this time, it was a bit different – this month there was a regular beauty box and a “naturals” box! The Naturals box contains (obviously) products from more natural brands with less harsh ingredients. Each box this month cost $7 and both contained a pretty good variety of products. Target Beauty Box Cost: $5-10 Frequency: Monthly, but it’s not a typical subscription box – you have to remember to order…

    Empties December 2016-March 2017

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you might remember when I did Empties posts every month for all the products I’d finished that month. I stopped doing them at the start of this year because I figured it’s a bit uninteresting to read about what someone else has used up…but I’ve always said that I want to write this blog as much for myself as I do for others. And I like to look back and see what I’ve used up and remember what did and didn’t work! So since I’ve been holding on to the past few months’ worth…

    Sephora Play! March 2017

It feels like I JUST wrote February’s Sephora Play post but here we are already with March! I clearly measure a year in terms of monthly beauty boxes, and this year is just flying by. To be honest I have a hunch that someone at Sephora HQ made a goof and shipped out this month’s boxes too early because I received it a full week earlier than I normally do, buuuuut I’m not gonna complain ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ So here we have the March edition of my Sephora box. I’m sure most people reading know what this is by now, but Sephora Play is…

    Sephora Play! February 2017

I know this post is coming to you super late but my review of February’s Sephora Play! box is here finally! I actually got this box over a week ago and have just been so busy I didn’t get a chance to do anything with it yet, but here we are at last. After last month’s was a bit of a dud, I’m happy to say that I’m WAY more excited about the contents of this box. As I say in every post: Sephora Play! is a beauty box for $10 a month for 6 products. You can see some…
