As you may remember from my recent planning post, our friend Sarah agreed to take some engagement photos for us at Epcot. We got all of them back and they are AMAZING!! I am seriously so obsessed and I have so many favorites. We’re definitely going to use some for our save the dates and wedding website! I wanted to share some with you here as well. We got great shots all…

Work Update: From Epcot to MK

It’s been a while since I talked about my experiences with Guest Relations and how things have been going, and a LOT has happened since I wrote this post. The biggest change is that I’m no longer at Epcot…I’m now at Magic Kingdom Guest Relations! As I’ve mentioned a few times now, my time at Epcot Guest Relations was a TA, or temporary assignment. This is normal for GR and how mostly everyone starts out – you’ll stay on a TA for a while until a permanent spot opens up and you’re lucky enough to get kept full time. It’s…

Beach Club & Chill – WDW May 2017

Welcome to the first post in my next vacation series: “Beach Club & Chill”! This will be all about my Walt Disney World vacation (slash staycation) with my best friends, Sarah & Ana. All the posts will be compiled here, just like I did with my Seattle & Disneyland vacation posts!! 🙂 Before I jump right into the post I figured I should give some background on a few things. First of all – the people! This trip is the third WDW vacation I’ve taken with my two best friends in the world, Sarah & Ana: Sarah on the left,…

Epcot Flower & Garden Festival 2017

One of the things I love the most about Epcot is the amazing festivals that happen all year long. I wrote about Food & Wine a few months ago and Holidays Around the World after that, and now that it’s spring we have the Flower & Garden Festival!! I absolutely love Flower & Garden because Epcot looks SO beautiful in full bloom!! There’s flowers everywhere and it just makes the park look so springy and lovely. In the Food & Wine post linked up there I wrote about some of my tips for experiencing the food of the festival. They also…

    Friday Favorites #14 – 4/21

Wow, as I wrote the date in the title of this post I literally had to pause and make sure it was correct. I cannot BELIEVE it is already April 21…which means it’s also almost my birthday!! I don’t have any super fun plans on my actual birthday this year because I have to work, but we have some other things planned for our next day off to celebrate. And last year I was in Disneyland on my birthday, so…there’s no way I’m gonna top that so might as well not bother trying haha Also, a very happy birthday to…

Work Update: First Days in Guest Relations

It’s been a bit since I wrote about how I got to my current job working at Epcot Guest Relations, so I figured I’d write a little update post about how things are going! Before I could jump right in to Guest Relations, I had a LOT of training to get through. The first week was all spent at Disney University learning the basics of GR. We learned about the core values and ideas of Guest Relations and the legacy behind it. The role originated with Walt himself of course, and it was cool to learn about all the history there…

    The Road to Guest Relations

This is going to be one of my long and introspective posts – you’ve been warned – because I’ve had a pretty big development recently!! If you haven’t already heard the news, I am now training to work in Guest Relations at my favorite park – Epcot!! This is a journey that’s been a very long time coming…I actually originally wrote a post about this MONTHS ago but didn’t put it up, because it didn’t feel like the right time. Now seems like the right time 🙂 My journey to Guest Relations is something that I’ve mostly kept quiet about for the past few…

Top 5: WDW Restaurants I Want to Try

I’ve lived in Orlando for a few years now, and I’ve gotten to try a LOT of Disney restaurants as a result. However, with all the new and exciting things happening in Walt Disney World, there’s also a lot of places I haven’t tried! My goal is to go to every Disney restaurant eventually (we even have a spreadsheet tracking our progress….) but here are a few of my top picks for where I’d like to go next! Top 5: Walt Disney World Restaurants I Want to Try Victoria & Albert’s Located at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa $$$$$ Serves a super…

How to Visit All 4 WDW Parks in 1 Day

Conquering all four Walt Disney World parks in the same day seems to be a pretty popular goal for people who visit. Having lived here for a few years now, I’ve accomplished it a few times and it is NOT as hard as one may think!! Doing all 4 parks in one day is practically old hat for us now, but there is definitely a right way and a wrong way to do it, imo…and I’m about to tell you the RIGHT way!! 🙂 The most recent time I did all 4 parks in 1 day was when our friend Brandon came…

    Friday Favorites #6 – 2/24

Hello again and welcome to my Friday Favorites for this week! I’m realizing this is quickly becoming just a recap of all the things I did this week that were out of the ordinary but I guess there’s nothing wrong with that haha Newsies on Broadway [youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFaiZI_UCVc] Starting off with a big one this week!! Newsies has been one of my favorite musicals for ages and I’ve been following the show basically since the beginning. I love the movie, I’ve seen the musical twice (once on Broadway and once on tour) ….I’m just obsessed with it. So when they announced that…
