Holiday Gift Guide 2018

Happy December 1st! It’s officially my favorite time of year and I am so excited that the holiday season is finally here. Picking out the perfect presents for everyone in my life is always one of my favorite things about Christmas, so this year I decided to put together my first ever holiday gift guide!

Almost everything on this list is something I already own and love myself that I thought others would love too. Especially if you have a Kaela-like person in your life – you might find a lot of good items on here for them 😊 Scroll down to the bottom to watch the video to go along with this post for more details about each item!

Just like with online shopping, I sorted them by price low to high:

1. Jar of date night ideas (DIY for very cheap or free!) – an easy homemade gift you can make for your significant other or give as a couple gift! I think it’s super thoughtful and personal.

2. SipWell Stainless Steel Straws ($5.89) – the time of BYO straws is upon us and these stainless steel ones are amazing – portable, sleek, and easy to clean.

3. Maybelline Matte Ink Liquid Lipsticks ($6-8) my new favorite liquid lipstick! It seriously stays on FOREVER. Shades I have: Lover, Amazonian, Ruler & Seductress.

4. Sleep Mask ($7.99) – amazing, especially for travel.

5. Invisibobble Hair Ties ($8) – cuter and more effective than regular ponytails. And great stocking stuffers!

6. Touch Screen Gloves ($9.99) – a 21st century must for anybody with a smartphone and cold fingers!

7. Sephora Crystal Nail File ($10) – seriously, everyone should own one of these. Pick one up for yourself and everyone you know.

8. Mickey Lanyard/Card Holder ($10.99) – I bought these for myself and my friends for our California vacation and I ended up loving it even more than I expected! Perfect for travel!!

9. Floral Laptop Sleeve ($12.99) – the prettiest floral laptop case I could find on Amazon. Form meets function.

10. Target Signature Soy/Bath & Body Works 3-wick Candles ($5-25) – I absolutely love putting a Christmas candle on to feel extra holiday spirit! Scents shown: Balsam Fir, Woolen Mittens, Marshmallow Fireside

11. Zoreya Makeup Brush Set ($19.99) – a great set of 12 brushes with a travel case. Perfect for everybody whether you’re a makeup beginner or seasoned expert.

12. Colourpop Disney Designer Eyeshadow Palette ($20) – I already wrote a whole post about this palette so you already know I love it! Swatches for all shadows are in that post.

13. Travel Electronics Organizer ($25.99) – I mentioned this in my California packing post but this is seriously AMAZING for travel. I don’t know how I kept any of my cords organized without it!

14. Christmas Jammies ($20-30+) – the ultimate Christmas tradition for lots of people is the gift of new jammies!

15. Lorac Pro Matte Eyeshadow Palette ($28) – a longtime favorite of mine. I’ve had this for a few years and it’s still going strong, and they’re still the best matte shadows I’ve found. Swatches do not do them justice!

16. Anker 5-Port USB Charging Station ($29.99) – this was a lifesaver when we got to our stateroom on the cruise and saw we only had two outlets in the whole room! This allows you to charge up to 5 USB devices in one.

17. Fenty Beauty Diamond Bomb Highlighter ($38) – the most beautiful, sparkling, dazzling, glittery highlighter I’ve ever had. I just want to wear this every day and be a sparkling diamond, is that too much to ask?

18. 23andMe Ancestry DNA Test ($99) – do your own research on this one and be sure to check out my blog post about it if you’re interested! I think it can a really interesting look at where you came from and you might just find out some new things about yourself along the way.

19. Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer ($399) – the ultimate splurge! I don’t think I like anyone enough to spend $400 on a hair dryer for them but if you do, this is your gift hahaha

20. Experiences ($???) – in my opinion, some of the best gifts are experiences rather than things!

I give a closer look at each item as well as more in depth thoughts in my holiday gift guide video:

That’s all for my holiday gift guide for 2018! I really enjoyed making this list and I think I’ll even be giving some of these as gifts myself as well. I hope you liked it too! What are you getting friends and family as gifts this year?

If you liked this post and video I’d love to hear any thoughts you had or for you to check out my youtube channel for other videos I’ve done! Thanks so much for reading and watching as always and happy gift hunting!!
