At this point we’re leaving for our mystery vacation in just a few days and I am positively dying of anticipation and excitement! Chris still hasn’t told me where we’re going, or really, very much at all… but he has given me a few hints that might maybe help me narrow it down? A little? We spent our weekend packing for this trip – here’s how that went:
He has given me a few hints though! Here’s what I’ve determined:
1. We are traveling to mystery place via plane (doesn’t seem like a big deal but it eliminates a road trip or a cruise!)
2. He told me that although he originally said this mystery place could be off-list (referring to the list of 10 places he gave me previously)… that was a misdirect and it IS on the list. So that means we’re going to one of the following:
- Aulani
- Chicago
- DC
- Des Moines
- Disneyland
- Disney Cruise
- New Orleans
- New York
- Philadelphia
- Toronto
Using my deductive reasoning, I can eliminate Aulani (he already said that one’s not happening), a Disney Cruise (since we’re flying) and DC (since my parents would have let it slip!). I also do not think he would take me to New Orleans, because I already told him I want to go there with my siblings to do spooky voodoo things. That leaves Disneyland as our only real “warm weather” option this time of year, so I think we are probably going somewhere cold!
3. Another clue he gave me was when I asked if I had ever been to the airport we are flying into before. This is a tricky one because we could be flying into a different airport than one I’d been to, like if we went to SNA instead of LAX for Disneyland, OR I could have already been to this place, but not flown in – like how I’ve always driven to New York, not flown. He told me that a.) our final destination is NOT our first stop and b.) I have not been to the airport at that first stop before. What does this all mean!!! It could be a layover? It could be we fly and then drive somewhere else when we land? I truly have no idea. I think at this point the most likely contenders are going to be NY and Des Moines, because of our friends that live there maybe?
So that’s all I’ve got. I also had a dream that he told me where we were going and it would be pretty wild if I was right! He’s going to have me do one final guess before we leave on Monday. I’m honestly so excited regardless of where we are going. It seems like he has a lot of really cool things planned and I know it’s going to be so much fun! I do kinda hope we are going somewhere cold though because I planned a lot of cute cold weather outfits ❄️
And that’s where we’re at with that! We leave Monday very early in the morning (and I have already tried to check what flights are leaving around that time with no luck!) and I’m so excited to find out where we are going!! Anyone have any hunches? 👀
