As of this past Friday we are back from our mystery vacation, and it was an absolute blast!! By now you may have seen my posts on other social media, but in case you haven’t – the mystery vacation was…
a cruise!! I was SO shocked, I couldn’t believe it! We got all the way to our gate at the airport before I found out our destination – Houston, Texas! Seems confusing until it was revealed that we were then headed to Galveston for 4 nights aboard the Disney Wonder!
It was an absolutely AMAZING vacation, and we had such a wonderful time exploring a new ship! I was completely surprised since Chris managed to keep it a secret right up until we arrived at our gate at the airport. I was 100% sure we were going to New York or another cold weather place but I was so wrong!!
Cruising was just the kind of vacation I needed right now, to get a chance to be completely disconnected for a few days and relaxed without any distractions! Being on the Disney Wonder was SO much fun too, and got us even more excited for when we’ll return for our Alaska cruise next year. We had such a fun time!!
I am so excited to share all the details with you – including the not so nice details like how I lost my voice AND we got seasick (!!) – which will all be covered in my upcoming blogs and VLOGS that we filmed the entire time! It was seriously so amazing – I feel so grateful to Chris for planning this surprise vacation for me and that we had such a fantastic time together. It was truly an unforgettable trip and I can’t wait to compile it all together to remember forever 🙂
