Analysis of a Beauty Box: Sephora Play

This is a post I’ve wanted to write for a long time and I’m so excited to finally do it! I mentioned in my most recent (and final, for now) review post of Sephora Play that I had unsubscribed from the box for the time being. I cancelled my subscription because I felt like I was getting more samples than I could use in a reasonable amount of time, and I could have been using my money toward things I actually wanted instead. I have also mentioned in the past that I love spreadsheets and keep them for pretty much…

    Empties April-June 2017

It’s that time again for another empties post! If you remember in my last one, I decided to start doing them every few months instead of monthly because…empties posts are kind of boring haha. But I still wanted to write something so here we are! This time I’m writing about the products I used up from April to June. Like last time, there’s a lot here so I won’t do full reviews, but I’ll use a <3 to designate things I loved/would buy again(/have bought again) and a 🙁 to denote things I hated! Stay tuned for some stats about my…

    June 2017 Favorites

Welcome to this month’s Favorites post! June felt like it was both ridiculously long and flew by super quickly. I can’t believe we are already halfway through 2017. Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium Straightening Iron When my pals were here last month, one of the little things I loved was getting ready together. Ana had brought her straightener with her and I was curious to see how it worked on me, a person with hair that cannot hold a style to save my life. But I was really surprised when it worked super well on me! I loved the look so…

    Review: The Makeup Eraser

Hi friends! Today I bring you a review of a somewhat strange product that I grabbed on a whim when I was at Sephora a few weeks ago: This is the Makeup Eraser Makeup Remover Cloth. I had been curious about this for a while. It’s one of those products that they put in the aisle while you’re queued up to check out to try and lure you in to throwing one more thing in your basket. Clearly that strategy worked for them in this case. The Makeup Eraser is a soft towel used to remove makeup with warm water. The idea…

I am seriously so obsessed and I have so many favorites. We’re definitely going to use some for our save the dates and wedding website! I wanted to share some with you here as well. What I Bought at the Sephora Cast Sale

It’s been a while since I wrote a haul-type post, but today seemed like a suitable occasion! Twice a year the Sephora at Disney Springs has Cast Member discount days, where CMs can get 20% off everything in the store by showing their ID. One of those instances was this past weekend!!! I managed to get out of there having spent less than $100 after my discount and gift cards. These might not be the most interesting types of posts to read but I like writing them and this is my blog and I do what I want lol I’ll…

    Big Brother 19: Houseguest Review

Hello and welcome to another post of me reviewing contestants from reality tv shows! Last time I reviewed the guys for the new season of The Bachelorette (which I am now two episodes behind on, and my frontrunner was sent home for having a girlfriend back home, so clearly I’m not that invested). Today I’ll be sharing my thoughts on the newly released cast for everyone’s favorite summer reality show…. *announcer voice* BIIIIIIIG BROTHERRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On Monday, the new houseguests for BB19 were revealed and they look surprisingly….very promising?? I’ve only been watching Big Brother live for a few seasons, but normally…

Today it has been one year since Chris proposed to me!!!! In the spirit of all things wedding, I figured it’s been a while since my last update so it’s time for another post! A lot of good things have happened since then so I’m really excited to talk about it. We have 7 and a half months until the big day and things are starting to get exciting!! Target Beauty Box May 2017

This post is coming at you later than usual because like I mentioned in my Sephora post for May – I was busy during the month of May haha. But here we are nonetheless and I’m so excited about this box! After two boxes from April, we’re back down to one Target Beauty Box for May. I actually didn’t look at spoilers for this month so I was completely surprised when I opened the box…and I’m happy to say that it was definitely a pleasant surprise!!! Target Beauty Box Cost: $5-10 – this month’s was $10 Frequency: Monthly, but you have to…
