    Friday Favorites #14 – 4/28

Welcome to this week’s Friday Favorites! I had a great birthday week full of lots of celebrating 🙂 Like I mentioned briefly in last week’s favorites post, I’ve actually decided to start doing Favorites monthly rather than weekly. This is because I feel like I find myself more and more often scrambling to put things into the posts…a lot of things make me happy every week, but it’s more often than not the same things over and over haha. So this will be the last “Friday” Favorites but I’ll still do one at the end of each month with all my…

    Sephora Play! April 2017

Welcome to another beauty box review! Today we are talking about this month’s Sephora Play! Sephora Play! Cost: $10 Frequency: Monthly, renews automatically Type of products: 5 deluxe samples of skincare and makeup (more makeup than any other box I subscribe to!) and one fragrance sample Reviews from my previous boxes here! This month’s theme for the box was “step it up!” As usual I do not really know what the theme means but at least they didn’t do another glowy/all-highlighter box haha. This month’s bag reminds me a bit of the Wendy’s girl: The resemblance is there. But the bag also…

    The Birthday Post

Happy birthday to me <3 I am officially 24 today! My birthday has always been kind of an event for me – it’s just so fun to celebrate me 😉 Even since I moved to Florida, every year I’ve had a pretty elaborate few days of fun planned out for my birthday. However, this year – for the first time pretty much ever – I don’t have any plans at all (except for work!). We’re doing a few things here and there (I think we’re going to Epcot on Wednesday as a late celebration) but this is the first time I…

    Target Beauty Boxes April 2017

Welcome to another beauty box review!! Today we are looking at this month’s Target Beauty Boxes. Just like they did back in January, Target released two different beauty boxes for April. But this time, it was a bit different – this month there was a regular beauty box and a “naturals” box! The Naturals box contains (obviously) products from more natural brands with less harsh ingredients. Each box this month cost $7 and both contained a pretty good variety of products. Target Beauty Box Cost: $5-10 Frequency: Monthly, but it’s not a typical subscription box – you have to remember to order…

    Friday Favorites #14 – 4/21

Wow, as I wrote the date in the title of this post I literally had to pause and make sure it was correct. I cannot BELIEVE it is already April 21…which means it’s also almost my birthday!! I don’t have any super fun plans on my actual birthday this year because I have to work, but we have some other things planned for our next day off to celebrate. And last year I was in Disneyland on my birthday, so…there’s no way I’m gonna top that so might as well not bother trying haha Also, a very happy birthday to…

Seattle/Disneyland Trip – Last Day & Wrap Up!

This is the finale of a series about our trip to Seattle and Disneyland in April 2016. All the posts about our trip will be listed here! Make sure you read the previous days before this one Tuesday, April 26, 2016 So here we are… exactly a year ago today, Chris and I were flying out to Seattle to start our vacation extravaganza, and today I’m publishing the last post in this series! I have had so much fun writing about this, and I’m sad it’s come to an end now! But I’m getting ahead of myself – let me write about the last day first, and then…

    Walmart Beauty Box Spring 2017

This is going to be the first of many beauty box posts in the next week or so, because they all arrived within 2 days of each other this month…so get ready! I decided to start with the Walmart Beauty Box, because (spoiler alert)….it’s the most disappointing one haha but let me not get ahead of myself – here’s the Walmart Beauty Box for spring: Walmart Beauty Box Cost: $5 – the box’s premise is that you pay the $5 for shipping, and the “samples” are free Frequency: Quarterly subscription Type of products: Deluxe samples mostly, sometimes foil samples. Mostly body and shower…

    Friday Favorites #13 – 4/14

I cannot believe we’re already halfway through April. My birthday is only TEN DAYS away!!! This week has been busy again – here are my favorite things from it: The New Star Wars: The Last Jedi Trailer [youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-qsg0fku78o] I actually just watched this THIS MORNING but it was highly relevant to my life and I had to include it in this post. First of all, it’s very convenient that new Star Wars movies are consistently coming out on or around Chris and my anniversary of December 16th (though I guess we won’t be celebrating that one after our wedding!) Second of…

Work Update: First Days in Guest Relations

It’s been a bit since I wrote about how I got to my current job working at Epcot Guest Relations, so I figured I’d write a little update post about how things are going! Before I could jump right in to Guest Relations, I had a LOT of training to get through. The first week was all spent at Disney University learning the basics of GR. We learned about the core values and ideas of Guest Relations and the legacy behind it. The role originated with Walt himself of course, and it was cool to learn about all the history there…

What I Wore: A Week of Business Casual

I am by no means a fashion blogger – you can catch me wearing Mickey boxers and a v neck from Target on a normal day – but I like to at least attempt to put some effort into my outfits from time to time. For my Guest Relations training, I had a week of training at Disney University where I had to wear business casual before I got to start sporting the plaid. Before I started my Disney College Program I was 100% clueless about what “business casual” meant or even where to start looking for suitable outfits. I’ve come…
