    What’s in My Park Bag

It’s been months since I published the What’s in My Work Bag post, but I decided it was finally time for a follow up with a new post! Today I’m showing you what’s in the bag that I take to the theme parks with me. I don’t frequent the parks as much as I used to, but especially with all the fun new things coming this spring and summer, I’m sure we’ll be in the area more! First things first – the bag part of this post! I’ve been living in Florida for going on four years now, so packing…

    Walt Disney World Date Ideas

Happy Valentine’s Day! Chris and I aren’t hugely into Valentine’s Day like some people, but it’s as good of an excuse as any for us to do something fun and spend time together. This year is a special one for us because it is our last Valentine’s Day before we get married!! I thought for a special Valentine’s Day themed post I would share some of our favorite date spots at Walt Disney World <3 These are perfect places to take your significant other for Valentine’s Day or another special occasion, whether you’re a local or here on vacation. A Fancy Dinner Starting with the…

    Disney Yuletide Fantasy Tour Review

A note from future Kaela: this has unexpectedly turned into one of my most popular blog posts! I’ve gone back and updated some links from posts that I wrote after this so don’t be thrown off by the dates on everything. Hope you enjoy this Christmasy tour review! — Yesterday Chris and I got to do something really cool and fun, and VERY Christmasy, and I figured it would make a perfect addition to the 12 Days of Kaelamas 🙂 we did Walt Disney World’s Yuletide Fantasy Tour! Yuletide Fantasy is a tour that isn’t really talked about a lot. The…

    Christmas Tree Inspiration

One of my favorite parts of the holiday season is Christmas trees. Someday I want a house in which I just have a different Christmas tree in every room. There are so many beautiful possibilities and fun things to decorate with!! I’ve been taking photos of some of my favorite trees at Walt Disney World for inspiration and also collecting pics of any cute ones I see on instagram or elsewhere. Maybe someday I’ll have all of these in my home… Epcot, entrance to World Showcase – decorated with flags and greetings from each country in World Showcase. Simple, yet classy with perfect themed ornaments! Classic…

Epcot Holidays Around the World 2016

Epcot is my favorite park on a good day, so I’m especially partial to it during the holidays. It’s by far the park with the most decorations imo – the decorating doesn’t stop at the front of the park, it continues into every country in World Showcase too! This year they also have many special holiday treats for the Holidays Around the World. Similar to the Food & Wine festival, we went around sampling lots of different things and I thought it would make a great post for the 12 Days of Kaelamas! The first thing we noticed was that there aren’t as…

Celebrating The Holidays at Walt Disney World

The holidays are without a doubt one of the most magical times at Walt Disney World, and today for the 12 Days of Kaelamas I’m going to tell you ALL ABOUT IT. This originally was going to be a post specifically of fun things to do for couples, but I decided these are really fun to do with anyone haha. These are some of my favorite ways to celebrate the holidays at Walt Disney World, whether it’s with your significant other, your family or your best friends! 1. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party   It’s obvious from my recap post that I’m a big…

My Disney Dooney & Bourke Collection

I mentioned back on the What’s in My Work Bag post my love for Disney Dooney & Bourke bags. I’ve grown quite a little collection over the past few years and I’m sure it will only grow in the future. I’m up to seven (!!!) at this point and I love them all – here’s the rundown on all my Disney Dooneys 🙂 My very first Disney Dooney & Bourke bag is from way back in January of 2014. This is the Disney Sketch Nylon Crossbody: I actually wanted to buy this on my college program but never got around to it. In…

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2016

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is the annual holiday event held at Magic Kingdom. We went this past Tuesday the 15th and had an amazing time!!! Today for the 12 Days of Kaelamas, I’ll show you all the fun things we did during the party – many photos ahead! 🙂 So the nice part about the party is that as a front desk cast member, I got a free ticket to go! On Tuesday we all got decked out in our best holiday gear and headed out to party!!! We got there around 4:30 – the party is from 7-midnight…

    Cinderella Castle Suite Tour

This post is going to be VERY photo-heavy, so prepare yourselves! A few weeks ago I got to do something SO amazingly awesome, I still kinda can’t believe it happened. On September 20, Chris and I got to tour the Cinderella Castle Suite! For those unaware, the Cinderella Castle Suite is exactly what it sounds like – it’s a room INSIDE of the castle at Magic Kingdom. Like, here: That’s not technically the exact location, because the windows in the suite face the side/back of the park, but it’s close enough. Of course the first thing everyone asked when they saw…

    Food & Wine Festival 2016

The Food & Wine Festival at Epcot makes fall one of the most fun times to be at Walt Disney World. We were able to check out the festival a bit a few weeks ago when my friend Ana was visiting with her family, but we were mostly just tagging along with them and didn’t try too many new things. However, since the weather has cooled down a little bit lately (read: it’s 85° outside instead of 99), Chris and I joined our friend Sarah at Epcot this week to sample some foods and wines. Here’s my tips for enjoying the…
