Our Wedding Day – Part 1

As of yesterday Chris and I have officially been married for three months!! Up to this point I’ve been writing all about all the planning we did for our wedding and everything leading up to it…and I’m still not done with those posts but I figured it was about time I wrote about the actual day itself!! I will warn you this is going to be a long one with a LOT of photos. So long, in fact, that I had to cut this into two posts! The first will be all the getting ready and details leading up, and…

We’re Back From Our Disney Cruise!

We sailed away last week and yesterday we sailed back! We are (sadly) back home from our Disney Cruise and it was such an amazing time! I wrote about this when we booked it but as a refresher – I went with Chris, my best friend Sarah and her boyfriend Grant. We sailed on the Disney Dream from April 23-27 and had THE most wonderful time. It was all of their first time cruising and my second and all of us loved every minute! Some of the amazing food we had on the cruise including that beautiful cheesy potato soup…

    DIY Disney Cruise Door Magnets

As I mentioned a few weeks ago, we’re going on a Disney cruise!! We’ve been busy planning away and getting ourselves excited for an amazing time. One of the things my family and I didn’t do last time because we booked on such short notice was decorate our stateroom door. While we were on the ship we saw tons of fun magnets and signs on people’s doors and it was super cute! This time we had more time to plan and prepare and I stumbled upon those door decorations again, and this time I wanted to do some for our…

Reflecting on a Year in Guest Relations

As you may have seen by my recent instagram post, I recently celebrated my one year anniversary of working at Guest Relations! On March 26 of 2017 I began my journey with Guest Relations and it’s been filled with so many great memories already!! I’ve written about my path in GR here on my blog as it has unfolded and it’s hard to believe that it’s been a whole year already. I feel extremely lucky to have a job in which I feel challenged to my fullest potential nearly every day. A lot of people see Guest Relations as “the…

    Wedding DIY: Sola Flowers

Hi and welcome to another wedding post! This is going to be a big one – today we’re talking about how we made the bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages for my wedding from sola flowers! And this one’s a little different because… this post was written by my mom!! That’s me and my wonderful mother!! She was the mastermind behind the sola flowers, so I wanted to get her input before writing anything…and then I decided it would be easier to just let her tell the whole story rather than having me retell it. A little background first: our flowers were…

    Beach Club & Chill – Day 7

This is part of a series about our BFF vacation in May 2017. All the posts about our trip will be listed here! Make sure you read the other posts first 🙂 This one is our last day so it will be pretty photo-heavy! FRIDAY, MAY 26, 2017 We’ve finally reached the last full day of our trip 💔 But we had a lot of fun things to do still so we didn’t let ourselves get sad! We woke up super tired from the day before…this pic of Teddy accurately represents how we felt: Ana literally jumped out of bed at the mention of a Nutella waffle for…

    Wedding DIY: Wedding Signs

Welcome back to another DIY wedding post! Last time I wrote about how I made our FastPass inspired table numbers and escort cards. Continuing on the train of paper products, today I’m going to tell you all about how I made most of the signage for our wedding! Honestly, this was some of the easiest DIY we did for the wedding. Once I was confident in my ability to photoshop some FastPasses, I knew that some simple signage would be super easy. And it was! First, I made a list of all the signs we would need and what sizes…

    We’re Going on a Cruise!!

Just wanted to do a quick life update amongst all the wedding posts – we’re going cruising next month!!! I am SO excited!!!!!!! It’s going to be of course Chris and myself, but we will also be joined by the fabulous Sarah, star of the Beach Club & Chill series, and her boyfriend Grant! Chris and I had requested off the whole week for my birthday because we’re doing some of the Star Wars RunDisney races the weekend before, and we figured we would want to do something for my birthday as well. We had been eyeing the idea of…

    Wedding DIY: FastPass Table Numbers

I’ve mentioned before that I didn’t consider our wedding to be a “DIY wedding” until I realized how many things we ACTUALLY made ourselves. I think one of the easiest things to DIY for a wedding is paper products. If you have any experience with graphic design (like I do, from all the livejournal icon contests I entered in the mid 2000s), photoshop, and access to a nice printer, you can do a lot of it yourself. The main reason I decided to design a lot of our stuff myself is because I had an image in my head of…

Our Wedding Album (+ a Shutterfly Sale!)

Just a quick post for today – things have been crazy but I wanted to at least post SOMETHING since it’s been a while! I have a ton of posts in my drafts I’ve been working on but nothing to post just yet…until today haha. I wanted to pop in and just share a short post about our wedding album! As soon as we got our wedding photos back I knew I wanted to use them in a bunch of different ways, to display and look at forever! One of the ideas I had was a huge album full of…
